Fallon Mayanja is a performer, sound artist, and composer. The main gesture that defines their practice and research is constructing listening environments. With a broad understanding of listening that encompasses the porosity of touch and the intangibility of sight, Mayanja mobilizes different connections with our environment and social ideas, interrelational and self-reflective. Mayanja presented the first two episodes of their collaborative project AXECIDYR!, with Salta art artist-in-residence Diogo da Cruz at the Pivô Research Library in 2023.
