Marina Pugliese, MA PhD, is an art historian and museum director. Her research fields are Contemporary Art Materiality and Conservation, Public Art, and Museum Anthropology. In 2017/18 she co-curated the exhibition Lucio Fontana. Ambienti/Environments, HangarBicocca (Milan), awarded Best Modern Art Solo show at the Global Art Awards in NY. In 2023/24 she co-curated with Andrea Lissoni, “Inside Other Spaces. Environments by Women Artists 1956-1976” at Haus der Kunst in Munich, awarded the Bayerischer Kunst Preis in the exhibition category. Pugliese was in conversation with Marta Minujín for Salta art’s event with the artist, organized as part of the exhibition. Currently she is Director of Museum of Cultures (MUDEC), Intercultural Projects and Public Art Heritage for the City of Milan.
