Raphael Fonseca is a curator and head of the department of modern and contemporary Latin American art at the Denver Art Museum. He was the chief curator of the 14th Mercosur Biennial in 2025 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Fonseca nominated Mariairis Flores Leiva as Salta art’s curator-in-residence at Ebenböckhaus Munich in 2024.
