Pivô Salvador

Giulia Zabarella (Piove Di Sacco, 1993) 2026

Building on over a decade of experience fostering artistic research and exchange in São Paulo,Pivô Salvador, established in 2023, extends the institution’s mission to Brazil’s Northeast. Located in a historic 1930s mansion in the heart of Salvador, the new space serves as a vibrant platform for experimental, transdisciplinary projects engaging with the city’s cultural and social landscape. The house hosts two artists simultaneously, encouraging dialogue, collaboration, and exchange between local and international practice.

Concieved as part of Salta art’s ongoing collaboration with Pivô, the program contributes to a wider exchange between Munich and Brazil.

The program offers accommodation, studio space, curatorial mentorship, and participation in a public event at Pivô Salvador. The selected artist will receive amonthly stipend.
