In October 2022, Maurin Dietrich, curator and current director of Kunstverein München had the opportunity to embark on a 10-day research trip to Buenos Aires. This journey was organized by Salta art in collaboration with the art fair and foundation, arteba. During her stay, Maurin attended the fair, actively participated in various fair events, and engaged in a podium discussion at arteba, an event co-organized by arteBA and Salta art.

Maurin seized the opportunity to visit many Buenos Aires-based artists in their studios, including Fernanda Laguna, Mariela Scafati, Guillermo Kuitca, the artist duo Faivovich Goldberg, among others. Furthermore, she explored various galleries, museums, off-spaces, and private collections. In collaboration with Cristina Sommer, she received an invitation to a dinner at the German Embassy.

Her trip concluded with a conference and lecture at Universidad Di Tella, arranged by Salta art and Universidad Di Tella.
