Vincent Scheers is an artist whose work explores the transient nature of structures, aiming to limit object lifespan creatively. He challenges preservation norms, advocating for more creative approaches to dealing with physical heritage by using chemical exploration and transformation techniques. His exhibitions include solo shows in Brussels, Antwerp Munich and more. Through humor and linguistic manipulation, he critiques oppressive systems and societal categorizations, advocating for freedom from constraints. Scheers was Salta art’s 2024 artist-in-residence at Pivô in São Paulo, Brazil.
