During her stay in Buenos Aires, Monika Bayer-Wermuth was invited to take part in the panel discussion “Museums for Public Life” at the Museo Moderno in Buenos Aires, organized by NODO.

Sharing the stage with Marielsa Castro Vizcarra (MAMM) and Juan Canela (MAC Panamá), the curators discussed how museum institutions from Latin America and Europe can use collection management to address social and environmental crises. The talk explored strategies for accessibility, decolonization, and the restorative potential of cultural institutions today.
